Mick is a big thick made gray gelding that weighs 1300#. He has been my personal horse for the last 8 years. He is a definition of a true ranch horse and knows his business inside and out. He has drug many many calves to the fire and been ridden in -20 below weather to go gather wild horses on the Reservation. Mick has been used at the stockyards for many years as well. A person can open and close all gates horseback.. work cattle in crowded alleys.. you name it, this horse can do it. One thing he insists on is when he has been turned out..he must be caught from the right side.. rope around the neck first..then the halter. He is a fun horse to own and ride. ....
