Poncho
“Poncho” is a true as they come Ranch horse. Very hard working good lookin gelding with his whole life ahead of him. We bought him from the folks that raised him in Wyoming as a 2 yr old and have had him the whole time and he has never made a bobble. Big strong and go all day but at whatever pace you like, he is very lay back. Gentle enough for my kids to ride him but enough go to get a lot of ground covered. Has done everything there is to do on the ranch. He is great to brand, doctor, gather, and if you need to load or rope anything big he has been our go too! He has been used to hunt on and packed out elk with. Great in steep, slick country, bogs, 3 foot snow, whatever he never looses his footing or his cool. Started and Halter broke lots of colts off him and his calm demeanor really helps the babies. We have ran a few on the Head side and is going to make a good one, he has such a great mind. We have never seen his unique color on a horse. Buckskin/Dun/Gray/Roan…with tiger stripes on his legs very pretty anyway whatever color you call him. 15’2 #1250 size 1 shoe.
